Tourist Spot in Indonesia

Candi Borobudur (Temple)

Candi Borobudur is one of the larhest Buddhist temple in the world. It is an Indonesia UNESCO Heritage site located in the heart of Java, consisting of six square platforms with 2,672 relief panels and 504 Buddha status. Thousands of Buddhists does their pilgrimage here in Borobudur during, Waisak day. This Buddhist temple is one of its kind, setting itself apart from the rest of Asia’s Buddhist temple with unique structures and carvings. Try to get in during the earliest opening time at 8am to catch the temple at the most serene to fully appreciate the beauty of it. Pura Luhur, Uluwatu Temple

This spectacular temple is perched at the edge of a large rugged limestone cliff of 70 meters above the Indian ocean. Mount Bromo

Lake Toba

This largest volcanic lake measuring 1,707 sq ft is called Lake Toba, also known as Danau Toba. Most Important Tourist Spot in India

  1. Taj Mahal

Cave art is taken to new heights at Ellora Caves, one of the largest monastery-temple cave complexes in the world cut from rock. Ellora has 100 caves, though only 34 are open to the public. The largest single monolithic rock excavation is found at the Kailasa Temple, which covers an area double the size of Parthenon in Athens Constructed between the seventh and ninth centuries, the caves are devoted to Hindu, Budhist and Jainism deities.

Located in Rajasthan’s remote westernmost corner close to the border with Pakistan, Jaisalmer is the quintessential desert town. The yellow sandstone walls of the “Golden City” rise from the Thar desert like a scene from the Arabian Nights while the Jaisalmer Fort crowns the city. Uncontrolled commercialism has dampened the romantic vision of Jaisalmer, but even with all the touts and tour buses, it remains one of the most popular tourist attractions in India.

The Harmandir Sahib, better known as the Golden Temple is the main tourist attraction in Amritsar, and the most important religious place to the Sikhs. Construction of the temple was begun by Guru Ramdas ji. in the 16th century. In the 19th century, Maharaja Ranjit Singh the upper floors of the temple were covered with gold. It’s a stunning temple, and always full of thousands of pilgrims from all over India, excited to be at a place that they usually only see on television.

Kanha National Park is among the most beautiful wildlife reserves in Asia and one of best places to catch a glimpse of a tiger in India. The lush sal and bamboo forests, grassy meadows and ravines of Kanha provided inspiration to Rudyard Kipling for his famous novel “Jungle Book” and make this one of the top attractions in India.

The palace became famous in 1983 when it was featured in the James Bond film Octopussy, as the home of titular character.

Zinda Park

  • গন্তব্য যদি হয় খানিকটা দূরে, আর হাতে যদি থাকে সারা দিনের সময়, তাহলে ঘুরে আসতে পারেন নারায়ণগঞ্জের জিন্দা পার্ক (Zinda Park) থেকে। ঢাকাতে সময় কাটানোর মতো অনেক পার্ক আছে,তবে নোংরামি ও অশ্লীলতার কারনে পার্কগুলোতে যেতে এখন মানুষের ভয় করে৷ ঢাকার যানযট, কোলাহল থেকে কিছুক্ষনের জন্য মুক্তি পেতে হলে ঘুড়ে আসা উচিত জিন্দা পার্ক থেকে৷ অসাধারন স্থাপত্যশৈলীর ব্যাবহার ফুটিয়ে তোলা হয়েছে পার্কটিতে৷ পার্কটি কোন সরকারি উদ্যাগের ফসল নয়। আবার কোন বাণিজ্যিক প্রতিষ্ঠানের নির্মাণও নয়। পার্কটি তৈরী হয়েছে এলাকাবাসীর স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত অংশগ্রহণ এবং তাদের প্রাণান্ত অংশগ্রহনের মাধ্যমে। এলাকার ৫০০০ সদস্য নিয়ে “অগ্রপথিক পল্লী সমিতি” ১৯৮০ সালে যাত্রা শুরু করে। এ দীর্ঘ ৩৫ বছরের অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রম আর ত্যাগের ফসল এই পার্কটি। এ রকম মহাউদ্দেশ্য, এত লোকের সক্রিয় অংশগ্রহন এবং ত্যাগ স্বীকারের উদাহারণ খুব কমই দেখা যায়। অপস ক্যাবিনেট, অপস সংসদ এবং অপস কমিশন নামে পার্কটিতে ৩টি পরিচালনা পর্ষদ রয়েছে। বর্তমানে জিন্দা গ্রামটিকে একটি আদর্শ গ্রাম ও বলা হয়৷

    জিন্দা পার্ক এর অবস্থান নারায়ণগঞ্জের রূপগঞ্জে। ১৫০ এখর জায়গা জুড়ে এটি বিস্তৃত। ২৫০ প্রজাতির ১০ হাজারের বেশী গাছ-গাছালী আছে পার্কটিতে। গাছের এই সমারোহ এর পরিবেশকে করেছে শান্তিময় সবুজ, কলকাকলীতে মুখর করেছে অসংখ্য পাখীরা। শীতল আবেশ এনেছে ৫ টি সুবিশাল জলাধার। তাই গরম যতই হোক পার্কের পরিবেশ আপনাকে দেবে শান্তির ছোঁয়া।

    ফ্যামিলি পিকনিকের জন্য জিন্দা পার্ক এখন বেশ পরিচিত জায়গা। কাঠের ব্রিজ পার হয়ে দিঘির মাঝামাঝি তৈরি করা বাঁশের টি রুমে বসে প্রিয়জনের সঙ্গে এক কাপ চা কিংবা জলে পা ডুবিয়ে বসে থাকার সময়গুলো দারুণ উপভোগ করবেন। সঙ্গে গাড়ি না থাকলেও সমস্যা নেই। বাড়ি ফেরার জন্য পার্কের সামনেই পাবেন গাড়ি, সিএনজি। আর হ্যাঁ, পিকনিক করতে চাইলে দু-তিন দিন আগেই যোগাযোগ করুন। পিকনিকের খাবারের ব্যবস্থা পার্ক কর্তৃপক্ষই করে।

    টিকেট মূল্য

    প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক প্রতিজন ১০০ টাকা। ছোট বাচ্চাদের ৫০টাকা। খাবার নিয়ে প্রবেশ করলে টিকিটের মুল্য হবে ১২৫টাকা। এছাড়া লাইব্রেরিতে প্রবেশমুল্য ১০ টাকা এবং পুকুরে নৌকায় ঘুরে বেড়াতে পারেন, খরচ পড়বে ৩০ মিনিট ২০০ টাকা।

    পার্কিং খরচ গাড়ি ভেদে ৫০/- থেকে ১০০ টাকা।

    জিন্দা পার্ক যাওয়ার উপায়

    ঢাকা থেকে জিন্দা পার্ক এর দূরত্ব ৩৭ কিঃ মিঃ। ঢাকার যেখানেই থাকুন না কেন প্রথমেই চলে যান কুড়িল বিশ্বরোড। কুড়িলের বিআরটিসি বাস কাউন্টার থেকে কাঞ্চন ব্রিজের টিকিট কেটে নামতে হবে কাঞ্চন ব্রিজ। এ পর্যন্ত ভাড়া পড়বে ২৫ টাকা। কাঞ্চন ব্রিজ থেকে জিন্দা পার্ক বাইপাসে যেতে লেগুনা বা অটোতো গুনতে হবে ২০-৩০ টাকা। বাইপাসে নেমে ডিরেকশন অনুযায়ী হেটেই পৌছাতে পারবেন পার্কের গেট পর্যন্ত। তবে রিক্সায় গেলে ভাড়া পড়বে ৮০-১০০ টাকা। রিক্সা করে সরাসরি পার্কের গেটে চলে যেতে পারবেন।

    ফেরার সময় একইভাবে অটো বা রিক্সায় কাঞ্চন ব্রীজ চলে আস্তে হবে। সেখান থেকে বিআরটিসি বাসে কুড়িল বিশ্বরোড। কাঞ্চন ব্রিজ থেকে ১৫ মিনিট পর পর বাস পাবেন।

    খাওয়া দাওয়া এর ব্যবস্থা

    খাওয়ার জন্য পার্ক এর ভিতর মহুয়া স্ন্যাকস অ্যান্ড মহুয়া ফুডস রেস্টুরেন্ট আছে। ভাত/ভাজি/ডাল/মাংস ২০০/২৫০ টাকা। এছাড়া জিন্দা পার্ক থেকে বের হয়ে পার্কের ঠিক সামনের রাস্তায় অবস্থিত “নাহার হোটেল এন্ড রেস্টুরেন্টে” খাওয়া দাওয়া সারতে পারেন। জনপ্রতি ১৫০/- থেকে ২০০/- বেশ ভালো মানের লাঞ্চ করতে পারবেন।

    তবে পার্কে ঘুরা শেষে ৩০০ ফিট এসে খেলে ভালো হয়। ৩০০ ফিটে খাওয়া ভালো এবং খরচও কম হবে। তবে বাহিরে থেকে খাবার নিয়ে পার্কে যেতে চাইলে অতিরিক্ত ২৫/- জন প্রতি দিতে হবে।

    থাকার ব্যবস্থা

    জিন্দা পার্ক এ ঘুরতে ঘুরতে যদি কখনও মনে হয় যে রাতে থেকে যেতে পারলে মন্দ হতো না, সেক্ষেত্রেও কোন চিন্তার কারন নেই। কারন রাতে থাকার জন্যে আছে মহুয়া গেস্ট হাউজ।

Nogore Nishorgo, Dhaka

In Wari, exactly at “Tati Bazar Mor” there is a lovely place inside a boundary which is called “Nogore Nishorgo”. This initiative had been taken by the Bangladesh government as a process of embellishment the Dhaka City. It is hard to find any beauty at this Dhaka city, almost no sign of green. Authority just wanted to give some green flavor by creating some artificial structures of this park.

Natore Children Park

Natore Children Park is located at the Rajshahi-Bogra Highway, just opposite of Shankar Gobinda Chowdhury Stadium in Natore Sadar Upazila. This park consists of lot of elements. There is a big lake and a bridge over it. The big portion of the park is structured as children’s playground with several manual rides. And the small portion has animals made with clay for children attraction.

This park was established in the year 2003 by Advocate Ruhul Kuddus Talukdar Dulu, the then Deputy Minister of Land. The main reason behind building the park is to gather the general people of the locality for entertainment in various occasions. Also, because of not having available children playground, this was built to enhance their childhood, although people of all ages gather here every day.

Throughout the park, there are lots of seating arrangements. Usually every afternoon, people come here with their friends and family members to enjoy their leisure time. Also in any occasions, this park is being decorated for enlarging the tourist attraction.

How to go

After reaching at Natore Sadar, take rickshaw or Auto rickshaw to visit this beautiful park. Ask the driver to take you to the stadium where this attraction is located.

Arshinagar Park

Arshinagar Park and mini zoo is next to Narsingdi Railway Station. Literally, Situated in the east side of the Railway station.There is a big banyan tree outside the park and mini zoo. Where people used to take rest after a long walk or a tiring journey. Under the tree there is a nice place of public sitting. Under this banyan tree, Late M.P. used to sit every day and listened people ‘ Grievances’. And after his death, he was buried under this tree. His graveyard is nicely decorated with shiny tiles.

To the North of this graveyard, Arshinagar park and mini zoo is located, which was built by late M.P. Shamsuddin. The entry ticket will cost 10 BDT. There you can take a look of different kinds of wild animals, birds, parrots and peacocks etc.

There is a pond inside the park which is dispersed in majority area of this spot. On the edge of this pond, there are several brick built sitting places where the visitors can sit and take a look at the natural beauty of this park. There is also a kids’ zone inside the park, where the children are entertained by different kinds of riding.


You can go to Narsingdi from Dhaka by Bus from Gulistan and Mohakhali. If you would like to ride on a Dhaka to Bhairab Bus then you will have to step off at Bhelanagar Bus stand, Narsingdi. If you would like to ride on a Bus from Gulistan, then you will have to step off at Narsingdi old Bus stand and then have to find out a auto-rickshaw or rickshaw to get there.

You can ride on a train from Dhaka to Narsingdi. Which will cost less than Bus-service and will bring you very near to the Park.

How To Reach: Narsingdi District

The communication system of this district is very good. The Dhaka-Sylhet highway, one of the important highways of Bangladesh, passes through Narsingdi. It is only 1/2 hours distance from Dhaka. Inter-district road communication is also better from here.

Water way communication is also very good as lots of river flows through Narsingdi. Dhaka-Chattogram and Dhaka-Sylhet, two most busiest rail route of the country goes through Narsingdi. People can easily go Narshingdi by boarding this buses.

National Park, Gazipur

National park situated at Bhawal,40 kilometers north of Dhaka on Trisal-Mymensingh highway. The National Park spreads on 1,600 acers with national recreational forests and animals,including small tigers, leopards, small bears, monkeys, porcupines and foxes.There are 20 picnic spots and 6 rest-houses, which can be looked in advance at the Divisional forest office, Mohakhali, Dhaka.

Lawachara National Park, Moulavibazar.

Lawachara Rain Forest:

Declared as a National Park, the beautiful breathtaking Lawachara forest is located-at Moulavibazar, northen district of Bangladesh.The forest is about 160 km.far from Dhaka and one km. from Srimangal. The forest is filled with trees, trunks. The famous and rare Chlorform tree is there in the forest. The trees shooting out at least 150 feet into the sky. A canopy of trees covers the forest. Birds of every kind are all around. Among the wild life, the Ullus, gibbons abound the forest.These are the only apes found in Bangladesh and there are only around 200 left in the country, sixty of which make there home here.

You can get here from Srimangal by bus (Taka 10), CNG (Taka 100) or bicycle (about 45 minutes; ride straight along the Srimangal-Bhanughch Rd). You could even jump off a moving train from Sylhet as they pass right do the park! (Don’t actually do that.)
